Grave House Legends
Broussard’s writing and production experience includes more than a decade of magazine, film and book publishing. His work spans historical, marketing, human-interest, conservation, political and philanthropic genres. He has composed advertising copy for a number of firms and provided speech writing and ghost writing services for commercial, political and non-profit professionals.
As a certified instructor for The Pyramid Group, Broussard leans on his writing skills to teach effective use of email communication—including writing effective messages, saving time and building a culture of communication effectiveness. He is a regular guest speaker on communication effectiveness, including email management and social media value. His blog, Stop. Think. Send., relates ways to unravel the complexities of modern communication channels as a way to save time and enjoy life.
He is cofounder and board member of Benefilms, a nonprofit film production company dedicated to improving communities through inspiring action. As executive producer, Broussard helped create Little Houses, a short-form documentary preserving and promoting a forgotten Cajun burial tradition. His first book, Grave House Legends, continues telling the Cajun grave house story and was released in April 2010.
